Cross Country

What is Cross Country?
Cross country is a long-distance running sport. Athletes compete in 3 kilometer races (about 1.8 miles) on various types of terrain including hills, bark chips, grass, gravel, dirt, and pavement. Cross country races are run rain or shine.

Your student can pick up an informational packet in the office with all of the necessary forms. 7th and 8th graders need a current physical (within the last 2 years) on file before they can participate.

Practices are from 2:50pm until 4:00pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
Our first practice is on Monday, September 13th and our last practice is on Friday, October
22nd..
